Thank You for Another Successful Year of #ShareYourEars!

Kellie of Make-A-Wish Oklahoma shares her Minnie Mouse ears alongside Pluto's dog ears, with a Facebook #ShareYourEars campaign frame.
Thank you, Disney, for hosting another incredible #ShareYourEars campaign! It was amazing to see all of the creative, fun and heartfelt posts roll in, all in support of our mission to grant wishes for children with critical illnesses.

And thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s #ShareYourEars campaign! For every Mickey Mouse-inspired photo posted to social media with #ShareYourEars, Disney Parks donated $5, up to $1 million. It would not have been such a success without you. And it’s because of your overwhelming commitment to help us grant more life-changing wishes that Disney Parks doubled its donation to $2 million again this year!

Since the very first wish in 1980, Disney and Make-A-Wish® together have granted more than 120,000 life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. For more than 37 years, we’ve seen how a wish can play a critical role in a child’s treatment, replacing fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. This is why wishes matter so deeply to us, and to the children and the families around the world who experience them.

Let’s celebrate the originality behind all those #ShareYourEars posts! Make-A-Wish staff members across the nation shared their ears, and below are just a few of our favorite snapshots. You can also go here to see even more Share Your Ears photos! Again, thank you to all who participated in this exciting initiative! Together, we are transforming lives, one wish at a time.
